We have designed this unique freeriding holiday to offer you an intimate immersion in the heart of the range containing Europe's highest peak. From one ski area to another, from summits to valleys, from feelings of freedom to gastronomic pleasures, this backcountry ski trip around Mont Blanc will surprise you with spectacular routes. In a week, you will have time to fully enjoy the charm and authenticity of the high mountains and to get to know this legendary place from different viewpoints: from its French, Swiss and Italian sides.

We have chosen them with a special focus on snow quality and the beauty of the landscape, away from the busy ski slopes. On arrival in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, a private taxi will be waiting for you. This will accompany you for a week and take care of your transfers between the resorts and the hotels: La Rosière/La Thuile, Courmayeur, Super St-Bernard, Verbier, Chamonix... An unlimited number of unspoilt areas to discover backcountry, touring, and glacier skiing, and even heli-skiing (optional with supplement).

 

Numerous excellent, gourmet or more traditional, restaurants give you a glimpse of the Italian Dolce Vita in the Val d'Aoste, a touch of Swiss luxury in the Upper Valais and a glimpse of the French art of living in the Tarentaise and Chamonix valleys.

For the end of each day, we have selected comfortable hotels to relax and spend the night.

OUTLINE OF YOUR SKI HOLIDAY IN THE ALPS

Day 1: France. Tarentaise Valley > Valle d'Aosta
Meet at Bourg-Saint-Maurice station. Transfer by private taxi to the resort of La Rosière (France) for an afternoon of cross-border skiing to La Thuile (Italy). Transfer by taxi / Night in La Thuile.

Italy. Valle d'Aosta
Off-piste route / Freerando
Transfer by taxi / Night in La Thuile

Freerando / Ski touring itinerary around the Grand-Saint-Bernard pass

This program is indicative and may be modified depending on the snow conditions and the weather, the level and the wishes of the group, in order to ensure the safety and pleasure of all. The accompanying guide is the sole judge in the matter.

Technical level: 3/5 experience of ski touring and off-piste skiing in deep snow.

Physical level: 3/5 capable of moderate effort for several hours.

Number of participants: maximum 3 groups of 6 people + 3 guides.

Payment: 35% deposit upon reservation, and balance no later than 3 months before departure. Payments by bank transfer or credit card.

  • Ski touring outfit and equipment: suitable clothing, poles with large washers, touring skis, skins, climbing knives. Do not hesitate to contact us in case of questions or difficulties in finding this kit.
