Discover the Whistler and Blackcomb ranges

The Canadian ski resort of Whistler Blackcomb is the largest in North America. Its backcountry sector is renowned for being an exceptional off-piste and touring skiing playground. Internationally renowned, the area is ranked first among winter sports resorts for its quality and especially for its backcountry and après-ski activities. It has one of the most extensive networks of high-speed chairlifts and a Guinness World Record lift for its length between two peaks.

Located in the Canadian mountains near the British Columbia coast, Whistler is a two-hour drive north of Vancouver and its international airport, in the area known as Sea to Sky Country. The “backcountry” area is located in Garibaldi Provincial Park. Waterfalls, cliffs, escarpments, the Canadian Rockies, towering peaks and sparse forests are part of the panorama in which you will enjoy powder runs. You will be impressed by the natural beauty of the freeriding routes we have chosen for you. Freeride skiing in Canada is a real gateway to the pleasure of beautiful lines!

Because your comfort and safety are our priority, your PowderWeGo guide will ensure each day, in relation with the Blackcountry Avalanche Advisory, that the conditions for our freeriding outings are optimal with regard to the weather and avalanche risks, especially on the backcountry sector. We take particular care to check your equipment (ski equipment, avalanche transceiver and your ability to use it, ABS Airbag, probe, shovel, ski skins and mobile phone). With PowderWeGo, everything is done so that you can ski with complete peace of mind!

After your days of freeriding, you will be accommodated in a 3-star hotel offering maximum comfort and high-quality facilities. The village, which hosted the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, is also full of non-skiing activities, shops (where you can find the best touring skiing equipment) and restaurants (where you can find something for the most demanding). The nightlife here is also highly regarded according to Freeskier magazine. This ski holiday in Canada is waiting for you!
